The current study aims to 1.
Identify the level of the seven habits of students in the preparatory stage.
2.
Identify the level of the seven habits according to sex variable (females/males) .
3.

Identify the level of the seven habits according to the variable of branch of study (literary–scientific) 4.
Identify the level of effectiveness of academic self - preparatory stage students .
5.
Identify the level of academic self–efficacy according to sex variable (females / males) .
6.
Identify the level of effectiveness of the academic self-according to the variable of specialization (literary/scientific) .
7.
Identify the correlation between the seven habits and the effectiveness of academic self and decision – making.
8.
Identify the correlation between each of the seven areas of habits with the effectiveness of academic self .
The following results have been found : 1.
The preparatory stage students have a high level of the seven habits .
2.
Females have a higher level than males in the seven habits .
3.
There are no differences in the level of the seven habits according to the specialization .
4.
The results indicate that middle school students have a high level of academic self–efficacy .
5.
There is no difference between females and males in the level of academic self–efficacy.
6.
The literary specialization students has a higher level of academic self–efficacy than the scientific specialization 7.
The present research has found a positive relationship between each of the seven habits and the effectiveness of academic self and decision–making .
8.
Each of the three variables is positively correlated
