Autism is one of the most difficult and severe developmental disabilities for child in terms of its impact on his behavior, which its causes are not yet known accurately.

To this moment, There is no a complete cure to overcome this impairment.

Thus, the problem of autism is one of the psychological and social problems that need follow up and attention from parents and those who care for them.

The importance of the current research identified by developing an autism spectrum scale to distinguish between autistic and normal children.

To the best of researcher knowledge, it is still not given a sufficient attention in our country to this group of people compared to the advanced countries.

The current research aims to develop a scale to measure the Autism of children according to the standards set by the American Psychiatric Association (APA), which came in the fifth edition of the classification (DSM-V).

The current research has been limited to the Private Autism Centers and Institutes in Baghdad for the year 2017-2018.

The development of this scale has gone through several stages of the scientific procedure, which consists of 50 items in its final form, and each item contains four alternatives vary in severity level.

This scale was characterized by high validity and reliability.

The researcher came up with recommendations and suggestions.
