Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to recognize the impact of disputes and armed clashes in Libya on the increasing of violence among pupils at primary schools, and the aspects of this violence, and the role of schools headmasters in stopping school violence from their point of fiew.

To achieve this goal, the study took a sample of (24) headmasters of primary schools in Tripoli.

The reaseacher used the descriptive and analytical method as well as administrated quetionnaires and interviews.

The study achieved a number of result as follows: The increase of violence among school pupils as result of armed clashes and disputes.

Breaking windows, school furniture, school assets, and attacking their school mates with bad words, beating and threatening them with their friends and relatives as well as spoiling their mates belongings were among the violence aspects among pupils at schools in Tripoli.

School headmasters highly succeeded in stopping violence at schools.
