The nature of the relationship between doctor and patient allows the doctor to have access to private information and secrets of his patient that the patient would not reveal voluntarily.
Whether the secret relates to the actual medical condition or disease or other information exposed to the doctor as part of his work, this information is protected under Physician–patient privilege.
If the physician violates the privacy of the patient or his confidentiality, it may lead to criminal ،civil and administrative liability.
