Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the role of Universities in Saudi Arabia Kingdome in Combating cybercrime from the point of view of the Universities students "a case study at Nayef Arab University for Security Sciences" , the study population was students in Nayef Arab University for Security Sciences in Riyadh which reached (?)students, a random Intentional sample was chosen with size (472), also the study followed the descriptive method.

In order to achieve the objective of the study, a tool was developed, consisting of (55) paragraphs, the tool sections divided into three axes: the first axes, which included the demographic information of the individuals of the sample, the second axis related to the reasons of the spread of Cybercrimes, while the third axis dealt with three aspects related to the Universities (Teaching, Community service, Research) and the role of These dimensions in Combating cybercrime.

The study showed main following main results: 1- the main reason for the spread of Cybercrime from the point of view of the Universities students is: " The low cost of the Internet and the increase in the number of its users" While the results also indicate that the least important reasons for the spread of cybercrime is "the spread of banking institutions in the Kingdom 2- The role of education in Saudi Arabia Universities in Combating cybercrime is at the high level.

the role of " Training faculty members to learn about the new information about computer network " was the highest levels, while the role of " Developing students' creative thinking to enable them to deal with contemporary language " was the lowest role level in combating cybercrime 3- The role of community services in Saudi Arabia Universities in Combating cybercrime is at the high level.

the role of " Encourage faculty members to interact with community institutions " was the highest levels, while the role of "The participation of Saudi universities in the educational bulletins related to the subject of electronic crimes for individuals or community organizations" was the lowest role level in combating cybercrime 4- The role of research in Saudi Arabia Universities in Combating cybercrime is at the high level.

the role of " To translate scientific research and new discoveries in the world into Arabic and to publish them both inside and outside the university" was the highest levels, while the role of " Conduct joint research in electronic crimes with related social institutions such as security, judicial and productive sectors" was the lowest role level in combating cybercrime 5- The role of (education, community service, scientific research) in Saudi Arabia universities positively affects the combating cybercrime Finally, based on the findings of the study, it found several recommendations, the most important of which to conduct joint research between the university and the institutions related to cybercrime in terms of the nature of those crimes and the characteristics of the criminals and their motives.
