Abstract EN

The current research aims at: measuring the level of physical security in children with autism from the point of view of their teachers.

the differences in the level of physical security in children with autism according to the gender variable (male - female) from the perspective of their teachers.

the current research was limited to teachers of centers and organizations (governmental and non-governmental) interested in children with autism in the center of Erbil governorate for the year (2016-2017).

the researchers relied on a descriptive research approach to suit the nature and objectives of the current research.

the research population consist of(60) teachers (male and female), (20) males and (40) females, for the academic year (2016-2017).

because the study community is small, researchers took the entire study community.

in terms of the research tool, the researchers relied on the measurement of (Musa 2013).

based on the steps and procedures of building and developing the scale consisting of(41) items, the psychometric properties of the physical security measure were extracted in terms of accuracy of the measurements by presenting the dimensions and the items of measurement to a group of experts in the field of education, psychology, measurement and evaluation.

in light of the analysis of the experts 'questionnaires, the standard obtained the percentage of the approved experts' agreement as a criterion of (85%).

in terms of the stability of the scale, the correlation coefficient between the scores of individuals in the first and second applications was calculated by using a correlation coefficient (of person) which is (0.82) the most important findings of the research in its first goal is that children with autism do not enjoy physical security from the point of view of their teachers, and that teachers are under control.

in the second objective of the study, the results showed no statistically significant differences between male teachers and female teachers with their views of physical security in children with autism.

based on the results of the research and at the end of the researchers reached a set of recommendations and proposals for the purposes of research.
