Abstract EN

In this work we focus on Mohammed Abdou’s visit to Algeria in 1903, where we analyse some important historical documents archived during the French dominance in the aim to find the impact of the Sheikh activities in the fiels of religion and intelligence during the visit.

The study aimed also to reveal the importance of the visit of the Sheikh above all on making Algerians in ease to discuss all decisive issues towards their religion and their identity and towards its civilized entity, which has been subjected to destruction by the French colonialism by making laws against Algerians.

In another hand since that visit newspapers have become spokespersons for the hole of Algeria.
