Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the factors that affect the professional Options of gifted students in secondary schools in King Abdullah II for Excellence in Jordan, the community of the study consisted of (356) students.

The study sample consisted of (119) secondary school students in the schools of the Northern Region.

Irbid, Ajloim and Mafraq, the percentage was (33%) from the community of the sUidy.

The researcher designed the factors that affects the professional orientations_Scale, which consists of (30) paragraphs divided into three dimensions, namely factors related to parents, factors related to gifted student, factors related to school.

The results of the study showed that the most important factors affecting the Options of the gifted students are the factors related to the gifted sUident himself, followed by the factors related to the parents, and factors related to the school, as well as the absence of statistically significant differences between the grades of the students on the scale of the study due to gender or grade level.
