Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the extent of the use of university professors in the Department of Media and Communication Sciences and Library Science at the University of Batna 01 for social networking sites(SNS) and areas of their use of those networks.

It relied on the descriptive analytical method.

The electronic questionnaire also used as a tool to collect information from the research sample of 23 professors.

The study’s results showed that all university professors used (SNS), and the page available on the Facebook is the most used by these professors for various purposes, the most important of which is to obtain information sources to benefit from them in the completion of new research projects and the preparation of rich lectures.
