Abstract EN

This study aims to achieve two basic objectives, the first is to assess the conditions of the new converts of Islam in western countries, according to a vision from the inside, including their facts and testimonies.

The second objective is to clarify the coexistence mechanisms and integration within the islamic community first, and secondly within the cultural context of the majority .

The study concludes that new converted women to Islam are facing the predominance of Arab culture over the religious thought as a dominant feature of the Muslim community.

Cultural coexistence can be achieved through a number of factors, including awareness of the universality of the Qur'anic discourse, besides the acceptance of positive differences .
