The Education and its contribution to Social Development has become a major concern of nations.
It has a great position through what it offers from qualified human resources which contribute to the development of economic and social sectors.
Since we are in the Information Age (New Media Age based upon information technology) and the complexity of social life, it was necessary to pay attention to education as a way of providing the labor market with human capital whose its educational and cultural outputs (value and intellectual contents) shall be coherent with the objectives of the development work which is essential to achieve the needs, functions, values and relations of the society.
From this point of view, we shed light upon this research paper, on the relationship between education and social development in an attempt to identify the most important obstacles of social development and to seek ways to achieve it through the process of education, focusing on the most important areas and objectives of Education for Individual Development (EID).
