Abstract EN

The current study aims to identify the organizational climate availability in Benghazi University in terms of management communication, organizational structure, participation in making-decision process, work nature, management leadership, and incentives and compensation dimensions.

It also tries to determine the extent of adequacy of each aforementioned dimension for realizing a proper organizational climate that can participate in achieving the university objectives and upgrade its performance level, the study population consists of all head of scientific departments of the university (101 subjects).

A random stratified sample of 80 subjects was extracted from this population.

The study used a descriptive method and a questionnaire.

SPSS software was utilized in data analysis and hypotheses selection, the main results of study were that the level of organizational climate in the university was average.

The most convenient dimension was participation in decision-making.

The dimensions of work nature, management leadership, and incentives and compensate were moderate.

Finally, in lower level came dimensions of managerial communication and organizational structure.
