This study aims to investigate the teacher’s role in the diagnosis of difficulties in learning to read primary school students to achieve this then researchers employed the descriptive survey method and the study population was comprised of 65 teachers of primary stage, (10 males, 55 females), The researcher used the Interview as his instrument, and applied the next statistical techniques; frequencies, percentage , after anlysis of data the results showed: there are many reasons which lead to the pupils weaknees in the reading in primary stage, There are no statistically significant differences to diagnosis of difficulties in learning to read .
