Abstract EN

This study aims to investigate the level of application of knowledge management processes in Sudanese universities.

The study sample consisted of (136) academic staff member from (10) public and private universities.

The main findings of the study were that the application of knowledge management processes in Sudanese universities was low.

Knowledge generating and acquisition dimension has the highest priority among knowledge management processes, followed by Knowledge storing and organizing, Knowledge sharing and distribution, Knowledge practicing respectively.

The study also found that there are no statistical differences between the sample according to sex, experience, and academic position.

The study presented a number of recommendations, the most important of which is the development of the infrastructure of the Sudanese universities and the necessity of availability of knowledge management requirements to improve the status of these universities, in addition to developing deficiencies in the dimensions of the knowledge processes mentioned in this study.
