This study aims at identifying the impact of knowledge capital on the efficiency of performance in Islamic banks.

The human element has become a major area of competition in financial institutions after the shift from focusing on physical capital as the most important asset in the organization to knowledge.

The study included a sample of Islamic banks in Jordan and concluded that the interest in intellectual capital is very strong for Islamic banks, which found themselves in an environment that was preceded by traditional banks for many years.
