The General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) is one of the important outcomes of the Uruguay Round.
It is the general framework for liberalization of trade in services, which includes the largest number of countries at the international level, including the Arab countries.
The liberalization of trade in services is a process, whereby actions are taken that expand opportunities of the entry of foreign service providers to the market.
Which will have a direct impact on economic growth.
The fact that the latter is considered the most important indicators of social welfare and prosperity.
This study attempts to analyze the impact of liberalization of international trade in services on the economic growth of a group of Arab countries.
