Abstract EN

This study aims at highlighting and clarifying the reality of social moral responsibility in economic institutions through studying the experiences of some developed countries and developing countries, where many business organizations in various countries of the world, especially in the developed countries, recognized the importance of social responsibility as an integral part of their public policy.

They started to manage and practice many social responsibility programs and gave them enough attention, where a large number of equity investors began to require the commitment of organizations that participate in social responsibility programs.

In the United States of America, 10% of investment assets, about $ 1 trillion, were subject to the terms of social responsibility.

According to recent studies by Harvard University, which applies the concept of social responsibility, the rate of profitability is more than 18% than those that do not have programs to apply, socially committed organizations increased their growth rate by four times, and a study prepared by the Aker Charity Fund showed that organizations less concerned with social responsibility suffered losses of about $ 1.5 billion in 2009
