تختلف قواعد محاكمة الأحداث عن تلك التي تحكم الراشدين، باعتبار الحدث غير مدرك للتصرفات التي يقبل عليها، لعدم نموه الذهني و الفكري على أكمل وجه، و بذلك يكون غير واعي لخطورة بعض التصرفات التي يقوم بها.
و لكل هذه الاعتبارات قام المشرع بوضع مجموعة من القوانين التي تهدف إلى حماية الأحداث أثناء المحاكمة.
Abstract EN
In trial, rules governing cases of the miners differ from those of the adults, because the miner is not aware of acts which he is going to accomplish, due to the defect of entirety of his intellectual development and of his mental growth, where from his lack of thought of the gravity of some of his acts.
For all these considerations, the legislator worked out group of laws aiming at protecting the miners in the course of trial.

En matière de procès, les règles régissant les cas des mineurs diffèrent de celles des adultes, car le mineur n’a pas conscience des actes qu’il va réaliser, du fait du défaut d’intégralité de son développement intellectuel et de sa croissance mentale, d’où son inconscience de la gravité de certaines de ses actes.
Pour toutes ces considérations, le législateur a élaboré un ensemble de lois visant à protéger les mineurs au cours du procès.
