The contribution of the Maghreb reform movement in the political struggle from the 1920s until the beginning of the Second World War was an effective and multifaceted contribution to the defense of colonial peoples' issues and to pushing for the acceleration of the independence of the Arab Maghreb countries, especially in Algeria and Tunisia through the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars and Tunisian students and scolars of Zaitouna, where they were similar in most common issues and differed in some formalities.
