The administrative control of elected local councils means the control performed on the two councils level municipality )township( and wilaya )province(, as stipulated by the municipal law 11/10 dated 22/06/2011 and the state law 12/07 on 21/02/2012 .

And these laws contained a range of measures and mechanisms under which the administrative control is made .

It is something which distinguishes it from other control species, and so on the grounds that this control affects directly the head of the municipal and wilaya popular councils at the municipality and wilaya levels, and the members and work of the people's municipal and wilaya assemblies, and the municipal and wilaya people's assembly as a body .
