Abstract EN

The study aimed toevaluate the physical education curriculum in the light of life skills from the viewpoint of physical education teachers in Algeria.

another aim of the study was to identify differences statistical responses in study sample due to their gender, qualification and teaching experience.

the researcher used the descriptive approach , sample of the study consisted of (192) male and female physical education teachers selected from three educational directorates in the Algerian capital(east, middle and west) selected using random sampling procedures.

to achieve the aims of the study, a (44) items questionnaire distributed on four domains (outcomes, content, instructional strategies and evaluation strategies and their developed tools).

it was found that physical education curriculum in Algeria achieved the life skills with moderate degree according the view point of physical education teachers in the Algerian capital.

there were no differences in the means scores for the physical education curriculum evaluation in the light of life skills from the points of view of Algerian physical education teachers due to gender, teaching experience and qualification.
