Abstract EN

While woman used to be sold and bought in previous religions , Islam came to free her from slavery , and gave her the freedom to do whatever she wants with her belongings and granted her all rights to protect her , it was Allah’s way to make up for making women the week ones compared to men , those rights are : - First: Family rights as a family member, such as a mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, aunt or other.

Which are the rightsof alimony, and the right of inheritance, women’s inheritance was always obligatory, as it was requiredby the commandment of the legal texts if they were not heirs.

- Second: the wife's special financial rights: these rights as a wife are dividedto: 1: The wife's original rights: the alimony, and the dowry: the deferred and accelerated types , the right to the money earned from work or trade and the right to dispose of it, as well as the right of inheritance as estimated for her, and her right in the will if not a heir.

2: sequel rights: such as the right to take what is neededfrom her husband's money , the honest woman’s right in the reward of breastfeeding , and the right of compensation in case of anyharm.

3: Rights of women in case of divorce, These rights are : deferred dowry as mentioned above, there are other rights including the right to enjoy the divorce , the right of alimony and living expenses, and the right of a helpless divorced woman whose husband divorced for some reason.

With these supreme laws of Islam, which encouraged women more than men, guaranteed their rights and dignity and made them free owners after beingowned slaves.

We become more sure that this law came mercy and compassion to the people and their interests and as prevention ofevils.
