The purpose of this paper is to highlight the Code of Economic Activities of the Commercial Register, issued by Decree No.

97/39 of 18 February 1997, which has been amended several times and which contains a number of important functions at different levels.

It clearly reveals the direction of Algeria's economic reforms.

The conceptual and methodological bases have been laid for the conduct and development of commercial and economic activities and thus subject to complying with the content contained therein for registration in the Commercial Register and the exercise of activity.
