Abstract EN

The present paper seeks to shed light on the influential role played by the literature of the Maghreb backpackers in activating the brotherly sense among the Muslim communities in general and the Maghreb society in particular.

It also reveals the cultural role of Ottoman Algeria and how the scholarly journeys contributed to deep connection between Algeria and Maghreb neighboring countries.

To illustrate this point, it was necessarily to report some of the writings of the Maghreb scholars and pilgrim caravns who arrived to Algeria during the Ottoman times.
