Undoubtedly one of the great intellectual achievements of Greek civilization is Aristotelian logic, which is widely known to be created and founded by Aristotle, basically each science has its roots and anticipated aspect, so logic was bases some antecedents.

it means that there were previous attempts in this field (logic).

some philosophers claim that its origin refers to ancient eastern civilization mainly Chinese and Indian ones.

despites these former unintentional precursors which were not intended to be a real science as Aristotle's but they remain antecedents that take part certainly in the emergence of logic.
