Abstract EN

The research called "American foreign policy towards Iraq 2008 - 2016" tackles the policy of the administration of President Obama in dealing with the Iraqi file .The research consists of a preface and four chapters .Through the preface, we try to understand and analyze the outlines of Obama's foreign policy and how was influenced by the policies of previous administrations .The first paragraph study the strategic framework agreement held between Iraq and America in 2008 in terms of the most important paragraphs it contained and the circumstances that accompanied the contract .

The second paragraph touches the philosophy through which Obama conducted his foreign policy, which can be called Obama's doctrine.

The third and fourth paragraphs have been dedicated to follow up Obama's policy towards Iraq in the light of the data and the foundations of that philosophy, both during the period before that ISIS controlled large swathes of territory in Iraq or in the period that followed .
