This research deals with (The war signals of the Arabs before Islam), which are the signals that the Arabs used in everything related to their wars starting with forming alliances and preparing themselves for the battle.

It deals with the signals of the battle itself including the attack, defense, leaving the fight, surrender and being taken as a war prisoner.

It also includes the signals of revenge and the signals of holding peace treaties.

These signals were very important because they represented a vital part of the military system and a communication means to understand each other.

The kind of war signals that the Arabs used is a result of their geographic, social and cultural.
