The present research aims to identify the skills of historical thinking in the students of the open educational college.

The researcher adopted a test (Jeri, 2012) in the skills of historical thinking to achieve the current research objectives.

The test consists of five main areas: the first is the temporal and spatial sequence of historical events, The second area: Historical understanding and comprehension consists of (11) paragraphs, the third field: analysis and historical interpretation, and it consists of (10) paragraphs, the fourth field: the historical research consists of (9) paragraphs, Decision: consists of (7) paragraph, either For the five domains combined, you will have (45) paragraphs.

The sections of the scale presented skills in their preliminary form to a group of specialists in the field of educational and psychological sciences to express their opinions on their validity in measuring what was set to measure.

Where the fields of the scale obtained the proportion of agreement (90%), the researcher used the equation (Vkronbach) to find a coefficient of stability based on individual responses the sample of 100 students from the Open Education College showed that the value of the Vaccronbach coefficient of the instrument as a whole is 0.81, which is a good stability coefficient.

The results of the search for the superiority of the research sample in the skills of historical thinking, as evidenced by the results on the superiority of females to males in the skills of historical thinking and at the end of the research recommended a number of recommendations and suggestions.
