The study was conducted to investigate the quality of rainfall water.

The study included tests of the quality of rainwater to determine the impact of pollutants on it.

Eighteen monitoring sites were selected for distribution on the administrative units (1) for the purpose of collecting the samples monthly for 12 months during the period from February 2016 to December In 2017 and chemical analysis of rainwater falling on the province, and the chemical analysis of the models included the measurement of the value (acid function, turbidity, sodium and potassium) of rainwater.

The study showed that the rain water in the Governorates of Babylon recorded spatial and temporal differences in their properties.

It also showed that the rain water is not acidic, although some sites occurred during December and January sometimes within the acid field.

The results of the analysis of turbidity concentrations revealed that higher The highest concentration of alkura was found at site (1) at (32.3) NTU, while the lowest concentration was observed at site (6) with NTU (15.8).

The highest concentration of sodium element at site (1) was recorded with a value of (272.1) mg / , While the lowest concentrations of 14 (12.2) mg / L were recorded during April, while potassium recorded the highest concentration (16.3) mg / l in the month of January at the site of lowest concentration of 1.6 mg / l at site (6) during the month of March.
