Abstract EN

This research discusses the issue of the writing of the Hadith in the Companions time and its indications related to narration.

The research starts with an introduction about how the writing of Hadith had started during the Prophet’s time, and continued after his death because of the increase in need for the preservation of the Hadith in all of its various narrations and the big number of narrators of its isnadwhich increased because of the Islamic conquers.

The research shows that memorization of the Hadith was not the only way of its preservation, and dependence on writing of Hadith started even in the Prophet’s time where the companions produced Suhuf Hadith scripts at that time, and the successors followed their steps in the writing of the Hadith after them.

Finally, there was a discussion about the indications of the writing of Hadith during the Prophet’s time, which are important and necessary indications, this phenomenon increased after the prophet’s death, the order of the caliph Omar bin Abd al-Aziz of the official documentation of Hadith was at the end of the Companions’ time which is relatively considered an early time.
