With the advent of renewable energy and the increase in attention to it due to its relative stability in prices and increasing oil challenges, Algeria is in a position to reconsider its energy policies to cope with the successive changes in energy.

For this kind of energy and to identify and search for its sources at the level of its geographical area to control the spaces that contain this energy and try to produce and replace traditional energy at the lowest cost possible.

This paper was presented to explain the challenges of oil and renewable energy and how Algeria dealt with this new type of energy and what are the future prospects in this framework.
