Cultural property is of great importance in all countries of the world.

The United Nations has sought to establish mechanisms to ensure the protection of cultural property, especially in times of armed conflict, and a new protection system has been introduced, known as the enhanced protection system developed by the Second Protocol of 1999 to the 1954 Hague Convention.
