Arabic Abstract

من الثابت أن التغير اللغوي يأتي ليلبي حاجات المتحدثين باللغة.

و لما كانت البشرية تطور أفكارا جديدة عبر التاريخ كان لزاما على اللغة أن تتطور لتواكب هذا التطور.

فلقد كان ابتكار التكنولوجيا الحديثة من أعظم القفزات التي حققتها البشرية في تاريخها إذ سهلت التكنولوجيا الحديثة التواصل البشري بشكل كبير.

كما أنها ساهمت باستحدات نمط جديد من التواصل يختلف الى حد بعيد عن التفاعل وجها لوجه و الذي استخدمته البشرية عبر العصور.

حيث يكون هذا التواصل على الأغلب عن طريق الكتابة.

و الكتابة بالطبع أبطأ من الكلام.

و هذا يتعارض مع الطبع البشري الذي يميل إلى توفير الجهد و الوقت أثناء التواصل.

و من أجل التغلب على مشكلة البطء فقد أحدث البشر تغييرات لغوية فريدة لتسريع عملية التواصل.

و قد أسهمت هذه التغييرات اللغوية المستحدثة في استحدات نمط لغوي مميز يدعى الحوار الالكتروني و حقل جديد في دراسة اللغويات يدعى لغويات الانترنت.

إن بعض هذه التغيرات اللغوية تقليدية في التغير اللغوي التاريخي و لكن بعضها الآخر طارىء على آليات التغير اللغوي التاريخي مثل استخدام الصور و الرموز.

تقوم الدراسة بمناقشة بعض جوانب هذا النمط من التواصل عبر التكنولوجيا الحديثة للمساهمة في تحليل الحوار الالكتروني من منظور اللغويات التاريخية هذه الجوانب تشمل ملامح الحوار الالكتروني و تصنيف التغيرات المستحدثة في الحوار الالكتروني بالإضافة إلى المحفزات التي تجعل المستخدمين يقومون بهذه التغيرات.

كما تبحت ما إذا ما كانت أنماط التغير في الحوار الالكتروني تتبع مسالك اللغويات التاريخية.

English Abstract

Language change is a reflection of the needs of its speakers.

As long as humanity develops new concepts, language evolves to cope with this development.

One of the gigantic steps humanity has made in its history is the development of modern technology.

Modern technology makes communication easy.

It also made communication different from the traditional face to face interaction humanity has been using over history since it almost comes in the written form.

The process of writing is slower than speech.

This slowness contradicts with the human tendency towards economy in communication.

To overcome the problem of slowness, people have developed some distinctive linguistic variations in language to make communication faster.

These variations have contributed to the development of a special variety called electronic discourse and a new linguistic branch called „internet linguistics.‟ Some of these variations are conventional in the historical development of language, but some of these variations are unconventional mechanisms such as the use of pictograms and logograms.

In this study, some linguistic aspects of this communication via modern technology are to be discussed to analyse ediscourse from a historical linguistic perspective.

These aspects entail: the features, the classifications, and the motivations for these variations.

The study also investigates whether language change in e-discourse follows the paths of historical linguistics.

The study ends with some conclusions and suggestions for further studies.
