Abstract EN

The current study aimed at identifying the effectiveness of a cognitive behavioral program for the development of internal control and academic perseverance among middle school students with learning disabilities.

The researcher used the semi-experimental method.

A sample of 60 students was selected from middle school students and they were divided into a control group and experimental group.

The tools used were the measure of internal and external control (preparation / researcher) and the measure of academic perseverance by Farouk Abdel Fattah Mouse) - An orientation program based on the approach of selective guidance ،which will be based on a number of theories such as behavioral therapy ،cognitive behavioral therapy.

(Preparation / Researcher).

The results of the study showed that there was a statistically significant difference at the mean level (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group in the tribal and remote measurements in favor of the post-measurement in the internal control variables and academic perseverance.

A statistically significant difference was found at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of the control groups and experimental in telemetry for the experimental group.

The results also resulted in the effectiveness of using a knowledge program to develop the internal control point.
