The present paper studies and analyses the subject of the scientific terminology and the appreciable place that it occupies nowadays in the universities as well as the different institutions.
In addition to that, the article discusses the various views that contend for the subject of the scientific terminology and it classifies them as following: Immoderate, simplifying and moderate.
The first view' considers that the principles of arabic neology do not reflect all the diversity of the arabic language's specificity.
As for the second point of view, the problem is in the difficulty of the arabisation and the translation of this terminology.
Finally, the third view puts an emphasis on the necessity of using all the linguistic means of the arabic language in order to capture all this new terminology.
Besides, the article evokes the great efforts displayed by the different academies and specialised institutions, w hich are interested in the scientific terminology.
Abstract FRE
I.’objet de cet article est l'etude ct l’analyse de la terminologie scientifiquc.
laquclle occupe de nos jours une place appreciable au niveau des universites et des differentes institutions.
Par ailleurs, les differentes visions qui font l’objet de controverses sur la terminologie scientifique ont ete developpees et peuvent etre orientees selon trois axes: ultra, simplificateur et modere.
S'agissant de la vision ultra, on considere que les principes de la neologie arabe ne traduisent pas les differentes specificites de la langue arabe.
Par contreje deuxieme courant considere que le probleme reside dans la difficulte d’arabiser et de traduire cette terminologie.
La derniere vision enfin, met l'accent sur lanecessite de mobiliser tous les moyens linguistiques de la langue arabe afin de bien percevoir cette nouvelle terminologie.
L’article evoque aussi les efforts considerables consentis par les differentes academies et institutions specialisees qui traitcnt de la terminologie scientifique.
