Two sounds : “Q” and "G", are sometimes optional variants, at other times two distinctive phonemes.
The aim of this paper is to present a few notes about such alternations in an Algerian Arab dialect from Cons- tantine.

Deux sons : “Q” et “G”, sont tantôt variantes facultatives, tantôt deux phonèmes distincts.
Nous donnons quelques remarques sur une situation fluctuante dans un parler arabe algérien (Constantine).
