Abstract EN
This study was a pilot program for identification of entrepreneurship interests of Textile and Clothing (TC) students early in their careers Using a modular method, the program focuses on awareness and assessment of entrepreneurship to develop a broad-based approach to encompass an essential understanding of entrepreneurial concepts (Niehm et al., 2005).
The program has focused on creating awareness of TC-related career options and on enhancing opportunities for community development and strengthening rural economies.
Educating Textile and Clothing students about previously-unconsidered entrepreneurial opportunities will potentially further attainment of these goals.
The principal goal is to educate and encourage undergraduate university students who may not have considered all possibilities with respect to entrepreneurship as a career option (Niehm et al., 2005).
Textile and Clothing (TC) Students increasingly need the skills and knowledge of entrepreneurial education to help them adapt to the changing needs of an uncertain tomorrow.
