The subject of the research deals with a higher societal value, namely “righteousness of parents” to demonstrate their importance in the stability and development of societies, and this necessitated the definition of values in general and sources, and then the definition of Islamic values in particular and the sources, and then to emphasize that the righteousness of parents of the highest values in all religions Heavenly and even positivists, and have a weight in systems, customs and community laws.

The research focused on showing the virtue of this value in the Qur'an, the Sunnah, reason and custom, then the statement of the rule of righteousness, the rule of disobedience and its effects, and some legitimate issues related to the subject, and then reviewed some types of practical images of the righteousness of parents, and the rule of each type and controls, and finally the research deal Righteousness to parents after their death and evidence, and then concluded with the most important results.
