Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the level of emotional intelligence in a sample of primary school teachers in the state of Laghouat, this study also sought to determine the impact of both gender and professional experience, and social status in creating differences in the emotional intelligencelevel,and the study was based on the descriptive method that has been applied to a random sample of teachers in the primary school.The data were collected and analyzed statistically, by SPSS 19, we used a number of methods in statistical treatment which is (The arithmetic average, frequencies and percentages, arithmetic average standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient, Guttmann correlation coefficient, Cronbach's alpha coefficient of variance analysis, t-test).

The results of the study found that : 1.

The primary school teachers in Laghouat have a high level of emotional intelligence.

No statistically significant differences in the level of emotional intelligence among primary school teachers due to sex variable.

No statistically significant differences in the level of emotional intelligence among primary school teachers due to Professional Experiencevariable.

No statistically significant differences in the level of emotional intelligence among primary school teachers due to Social statusvariable
