Objection right is considered one of the most important and risky constitutional mechanisms the head of the state possesses in facing the parliament, and at the same time it is considered a basic guaranty to secure and preserve the balance between the legislative and the executive authorities, since it is insufficient to apply the separation between the authorities practices dedicated in the constitution, rather it should be equipped with a fence of guaranty’s to prevent aggression on the other authority.

from this point has emerged the importance of the text about this right.

the study investigated and analyzed the right of his majesty the sultan to object the laws in the Omani comparative and constitutional system through directing the light towards the essential of this right, its forms, and to show its importance and its legal nature, reaching knowledge about how the Omani constitutional legislator has organized this right in the state’s system year (1996) regarding its formative and objectivity form, illustrating its reasons and the resulting effects on it.

based on that the study has been divided into two subjects, and at the end it reached a conclusion about the most important results and recommendations.
