Abstract EN

This research aims to shed light on one of the scientific phenomena unveiled by the Holy Qur’an very long back, though they have been discovered by Science without giving heed to Qur’anic evidences.

This phenomenon is the combustion of the sea which was mentioned in the Holy Qur’an before its discovery by modern science.

This solidifies the call of the Qur’an, in particular, and Islamic Faith, in general.

The combustion of the sea (water) is the case in which the components of water, viz.

Hydrogen and Oxygen, got separated.

In fact, the Holy Qur’an unveils several and various Scientific phenomena, which are still discovered by modern science up to today.

It also aims to explore the meaning of miracle and its various connotations, man’s relationship with the sea, the scientific miracle of the combustion of the sea, and the resemblance between the religious and linguistic explanation in Qur’anic interpretation and scientific explanation along with its impact on strengthening Faith.
