Abstract EN

This study tackles the impact of macroeconomic policies on the private sector in the Republic of Yemen.

The study deals with a serious problem which forces the whole world to rethink the macroeconomic policies because of the developments that the entire world has recently witnessed, which makes the whole world gradually abandon the protectionist policy.

The study also investigates the impact of macro-economic policies and their activities in the private sector and to measure their effects on production incentives, jobs and the investment sphere, studying the effects of economic variables on the private sector.

The study concludes with some results, the most important of which is that reducing the financial support of diesel and petrol leads to raising prices, which, in turn, leads to weakening the ability of individuals to purchase.

The study also recommends to establish alternatives for macro-economic policies to strengthen the role played by the private sector, establishing and stimulating these policies at both centralizing and noncentralizing levels.
