Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the conditions of prisoners at Ibb central prison in light of the standard minimum rules of the treatment of prisoners.

The study employs the descriptive survey method for its appropriateness and suitability.

The population of the study consists of all male (1493) prisoners.

The sample of this study, however, consists of (162) prisoners who were selected randomly, i.e.

(10.85%) of the entire population.

The data were collected via a questionnaire prepared by the researcher.

The questionnaire includes (30) items.

In the survey, the researcher takes the help of (40) level four students, Faculty of Education, Ibb University, after practically training them on how to distribute the questionnaire to the sample of the study.

The results were analyzed by using the SPSS program.
