This study deals with the effect of forecasting the future in Joseph’s story in discovering the economic cycle.

Forecasting the future and the expectations of what will happen can only be achieved by a systematic scientific effort that examines the past and present in the light of Allah’s sunnas in His Creation.

The care of this science has increased in the modern era, and the dreams interpretation is one of the most important methods of qualitative forecasting.

This research shows the effect of the dreams’ interpretation on the discovery of economic cycles by studying the interpretation of Joseph’s (PBUH) dream of the KING, which depicts in a few words the stages of a complete economic cycle.
