Abstract EN

This study examines the electronic commerce laws in accordance with the general principles of the Islamic Sharia through highlighting the principles of establishing e-commerce and the conditions related to practicing it, and the rules of protecting its users.

The researchers make use of a amalgamation of the descriptive analytical, and inductive approaches by investigating and analysing the Sharia laws and infer them to the general principles of the study, and then applying them to the e-commerce transactions.

The study concludes that the allowance of e-commerce is based on an Islamic principle which states that all dealings or transactions are legal, where e-commerce is a new trend of transactions that should be in compliance with the general practice of Islamic Sharia governing the traditional trade.
