Abstract EN

This research deals with Dawri’s Narration of Abu Amru AlBasiri and its spread in Sudan.

The researcher introduces Dawri and the bases of his narration, and tackles the reasons of spreading his Narration in Sudan.

One of the most important reasons is “Alkhalwa”, an educational system of Qur’an learning, which enters Sudan in 1570AD.

Since then, most of the Holy Quran memorizers memorize it according to Dawri’s narration.

Sudanese knew Hafs’ narration only during the biruling system of Sudan by Egypt and England in the period 1899-1956AD.

At this period, Sudanese started studying Hafs’ narration in schools and universities.

The researcher indicates that Dawri’s narration is the only one in Sudan, and it is also followed by western areas boarding Sudan, and Somalia, the researcher also points out that frequent readings are required to ease things and renovating our Islamic culture.
