Abstract EN

This paper aims to provide a scientific view that could re-read the Arab critical heritage through a methodological comparison between its rich terminology and that of modern critical theory.

The researcher compares a comparison old Arab critics’ views to those of modernity critics, taking into account the difficulty of investigation and tracing.

However, the researcher will be guided by two perspectives revealing his point of view, namely the scientific perspective and the critical one.

The main objective of this research is to grope this positive interaction in our Arab literary heritage and its openness to world literature, regardless of its place and origin, a conception, based on a scientific hypothesis, pointing to the knowledge of old Arab scientific critics and a critical methodology in rooting the critical concept/term related to the greatest Arab literary issues, the most important of which is "word and meaning." Hence, the research begins with a careful consideration of each type or stream, giving it a thorough scientific study and enough time so as to remove the accumulated dust of time and highlight new meanings that will be detailed in the research.
