Abstract EN

This study aimed to explore the impact of the privatization policy on enhancing the financial performance and productivity of the cement sector through studying the case of Atbara and Rabak cement factories.

The study compares the productivity and financial performance of the two factories before and after their privatization.

The study adopted the historical and the analytical descriptive approaches through using the SPSS program for analyzing the data of the study and testing its hypotheses.

The study results indicated the improvement in the financial performance and productivity of the two factories after their privatization.

The study most important recommendations call for exempting or reducing imports of capital equipment and spare parts for cement factories, in addition to reduce State fees and excise duties in order to reduce cost and to promote cement exports
