Arabic Abstract

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور معلمي الرياضيات في تنمية مهارات التفكير العليا لدى طلبة المرحلة الأساسية العليا في لواء دير علا من وجهة نظر الطلبة، و لتحقيق هدف الدراسة استخدم المنهج الوصفي المسحي و تألفت عينتها من (355) طالب و طالبة، و اختيرت العينة بأسلوب العينة العشوائية الطبقية.

أما أداتها كانت من استبانة تألفت من أربعة مجالات رئيسة و بواقع 45 فقرة لكل المجالات، و أظهرت النتائج أن دور معلمي الرياضيات في تنمية مجالات مهارات التفكير العليا (الأداة ككل) قد جاء بدرجة متوسطة، حيث بلغ المتوسط الحسابي لاستجابات العينة على الأداة ككل (3.66) و بانحراف معياري (041) ، و بالنسبة للمجالات فقد جاء مجال مهارات حل المشكلات بالترتيب الأول بمتوسط حسابي (3.78) و انحراف معياري (0.37) و بدرجة مرتفعة، يليه مجال مهارات اتخاذ القرار بمتوسط حسابي (3.70) و انحراف معياري (0.49) و بدرجة مرتفعة، و جاء مجال مهارات التفكير الناقد في الترتيب الثالث بمتوسط حسابي (3.65) و انحراف معياري (0.59) و بدرجة متوسطة، و جاء مجال مهارات التفكير الابداعي في الترتيب الرابع و الأخير بمتوسط حسابي (3.55) و انحراف معياري (0.43) و بدرجة متوسطة.

و كما توصلت النتائج إلى أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (α≤ 0.05) بين المتوسطات الحسابية في تقديرات درجة تنمية مهارات التفكير العليا (مهارات التفكير الناقد، مهارات التفكير الإبداعي، مهارات حل المشكلات مهارات اتخاذ القرار) لدى طلبة المرحلة الأساسية العليا في لواء دير علا من وجهة نظر الطلبة تعزى لاختلاف جنس الطلبة (ذكر، أنثى) و كما توصلت النتائج إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (α≤ 0.05) بين المتوسطات الحسابية في تقديرات درجة تنمية مهارات التفكير العليا (مهارات التفكير الناقد، مهارات التفكير الإبداعي، مهارات حل المشكلات مهارات اتخاذ القرار) لدى طلبة المرحلة الأساسية العليا في لواء دير علا من وجهة نظر الطلبة تعزى لاختلاف الصف الدراسي.

و قد توصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من التوصيات والمقترحات أهمها : إجراء المزيد من الدراسات على طلاب المراحل الأساسية الدنيا والمرحلة الثانوية في مادة الرياضيات و المواد العلمية الأخرى و كما توصي الدراسة المسؤولين في وزارة التربية و التعليم الأردنية زيادة حصص مادة الرياضيات الطلبة المرحلة الأساسية العليا

English Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the role of mathematics teachers in the development of higher thinking skills among the students of the upper elementary stage in DIER ALLA district from the student’s point of view.

The descriptive method was applied to achieve the objective of the study so the sample was gathered from 355 students.

And its tool was from the questionnaire of four main areas and 45 paragraphs for all areas, the results showed that the role of athematic teachers in the development of the areas of higher thinking skills (the tool as a whole) came at a moderate level.

The mean of the sample responses on the tool as a whole was (3.66), By a standard deviation of (0.41) and for areas problem solving skills were in the first stage with a mean value of (3.78) and a standard deviation of (0.37) with a high-level degree, followed by the field of decision-making skills with an average mean of (3.70) and a standard deviation of (0.49) with a high-level degree.

The field of critical thinking skills came in the third stage with a mean of (3.65), and a standard deviation of (0.59) with a moderate level.

The field of creative thinking skills came in the fourth and final stage with an average mean of (3.55) and a standard deviation of (0.43) and also with a moderate level.

The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences (0.05 ≤ α) between the arithmetic mean in the assessment of the degree of development of higher thinking skills (critical thinking skills, creative thinking skills, problem solving skills, decision-making skills) Of students in the upper elementary stage in the DIER ALLA district from the student’s point of view due to the different gender of the students (male, female).

The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05≤α) between the arithmetic mean in the grade of development of higher thinking skills (critical thinking skills, creative thinking skills, problem solving skills, decision-making skills) The DIER ALLA district from the student’s point of view is due to the different grades.

The study has reached several recommendations and proposals, the most important of which are: Further studies on the students of the basic and lower secondary levels in mathematics and other scientific subjects.

The study also recommends that managers in the Jordanian Ministry of Education should increase the mathematics courses for the students of the upper stage.
