Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the mechanisms on which Algeria has relied to support agricultural projects to achieve local development.

As an applied study, the province of Tebessa was studied as a case study, using the descriptive method to describe the elements of research.

The analytical approach was also used to analyze the different forms of support for Algerian agricultural policy to finance agricultural projects and the extent of their achievement of local development, through the available statistics on the agricultural sector in Tebessa province.

This study concluded that Algeria has made a great effort to provide many structures and programs supporting the agricultural sector, including the National Agricultural Development Plan and the agricultural and rural revival policy.

This is reflected in the agricultural sector statistics of Tebessa province, where it is shown that agricultural support continues to increase and reach a considerable annual volume, sufficient to achieve positive growth, but the results obtained do not meet the desired objectives which are the achievement of local development
